Hi, I'm Kara.

I am a research technician in the Time Lab at San Francisco State University, where I perform a variety of tasks, including participant recruitment and scheduling, project coordination, scholarly research, statistical analyses, and manuscript development.

My passion lies in research, data, and all things human behavior. I discovered my love for research during my undergrad years at California State University, Channel Islands. I joined my first research lab at CSUCI in 2019 and my enthusiasm for research has never wavered.

I moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2021 to attend graduate school at San Francisco State University where I obtained a Master's degree in Psychology with a concentration in Social, Personality, and Affective Science.

While I have enjoyed many wonderful years in academia, my ultimate goal is to transition into the industry where I can put the skills I have acquired to use in real-world challenges.
